(Sisters, OR) - Eastlan's growth in the Eastern part of United States continued today with the announcement that the nation's second largest radio audience measurement company is beginning service to Fredericksburg, Virginia. Eastlan will measure the market in the Spring & Fall with an in-tab of 1,500 per measurement.

"Eastlan provided us with exactly what we were looking for from a ratings company: lower costs, much larger sample size, and less dependence on weighting," remarked Shawn Sloan, General Manager of WFVA/WBQB.

"I think we'll see Mr. Sloan's sentiment echoed by an increasing number of small market broadcasters in next 24 months," said Eastlan President/CEO Mike Gould. "We think this is the perfect time for broadcasters to now embrace a ratings company that understands the unique challenge of selling radio successfully in small markets."

Eastlan's Spring 2006 survey period is March 30-May 24.

Eastlan Resources is privately held media-research firm headquartered in Wenatchee, Washington with offices in Issaquah, Washington (Seattle) and Sisters, Oregon (Portland). Eastlan was formed in 1999 and provides radio audience measurement data to over 300 subscribing radio stations in more than 80 markets across the United States.
