EASTLAN ANNOUNCES 10TH NEW MARKET FOR 2009
Radio exec Barlow hails "realistic pricing"
(SAMMAMISH, WA) The dramatic growth of Eastlan Ratings continues as the audience measurement provider announced today that it will begin service to Corpus Christi, TX in 2009. This represents the 10th new market Eastlan will open in 2009.
Eastlan Ratings' initial subscriber in the Corpus Christi market is Convergent Broadcasting. Convergent Corporate Manager Ken Barlow suggests, "we're sold on using Eastlan for both their product results and realistic pricing. It keeps us competitive in the marketplace at a cost that makes sense within our budget. The surveys provide our cluster with useful and accurate information twice a year and reduce our outlay for ratings at the same time."
"We are so thankful that broadcasters like Ken are recognizing our commitment to offer a reasonably priced ratings alternative and at the same time, help save radio jobs," says Eastlan President/CEO Mike Gould. "These values have now established that 2009 will be the biggest growth year in our company's history. We couldn't be more appreciative to small & medium market broadcasters for trusting us to serve them during these challenging times. It is our privilege to have earned their business."
Eastlan also announced today it will begin service in 2009 to a previously unrated market: Richmond, IN.
