Sales Up 22% in 2011

(SAMMAMISH, WA) Dramatic growth has lead to the creation of several new positions at Eastlan Ratings. Revenue for 2011 will close more than 22% ahead of the company's previous best year.

"This is a wonderful position to be in as this allows us to further enhance the level of service we can provide to our customers," remarked Eastlan President/CEO Mike Gould. "I am thrilled to announce that David Hastings is taking on a vital new role." Hastings, a 30-year veteran of the radio ratings industry, has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of Operations. Hastings will be responsible for the training and satisfaction of all Eastlan customers. He has been with Eastlan since 2000.

Dennis Soapes has joined Eastlan Ratings to fill Hastings' former position as Director of Client Services-West. Having been instrumental in the growth of Broadcast Programming, Sentry Systems, Broadcast Electronics, Jones Radio Networks and Timeless Cool, Soapes brings 35 years of experience in local radio, radio syndication, and advertising to Eastlan.

Donna Halverson has agreed to join Eastlan as Director of Client Services-South. Halverson has more than 40 years in local and network radio. She has a rich background in affiliate sales with ABC Radio Networks and Citadel Media Networks.

"The big winners today are those broadcasters who've chosen to trust Eastlan as their ratings vendor. These moves will allow us to continue to provide them the excellent service they deserve while ensuring the rapid acceptance curve of Eastlan Ratings continues. As if this weren't enough, our new private equity partnership means we are fortunate to now have a good deal of dry powder on hand to strategically accelerate growth of our company," Gould added. "If a leader is as smart as the team around them, I think my Mensa application should be arriving soon."
